TRIPNOSIN: A NATURAL RECOMMENDATION FOR DEPRESSIVE STATES
When should I take Tripnosin and how should I do it?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), depression and suicide are, respectively, the leading primary and secondary causes of mental disability and death among people aged 15 to 29.
Worldwide, more than 240 million people are affected by depression.
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that prevents stress, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
It is also essential for the endogenous synthesis of niacin (B3) necessary for energy metabolism and DNA synthesis.
The most common sources of tryptophan include dairy products, oats, bananas, prunes, tuna, bread, poultry, peanuts, and chocolate .
The WHO recommends a minimum intake of 4 mg/kg/day .
The free form of tryptophan is also found in breast milk and plays an essential role in the postnatal development of the baby.
Only 1% of dietary tryptophan is used for serotonin biosynthesis in the brain , and almost 1-2% of serotonin contributes to the regulation of mood, sleep, pain and hunger, memory and learning.
Due to gastrointestinal problems or very restrictive diets, we may have an inadequate intake of tryptophan or require a greater demand for it during depressive episodes.
TRIPNOSIN presents tryptophan in its 5-HTP (L-5-hydroxytryptophan) form , which crosses the blood-brain barrier more easily, preventing it from being degraded and reaching the end we are looking for , the production of serotonin.
